Covenstead has a Brand New Look!
Well, the rebuild is done...or at least to the point where the Sim is open for business! We've moved and completely rearranged the shopping village, cemetery and Tea Room, put in a University with Library and added a carriage tour through the whole thing. We also have a skating rink and ice pavilion, handfasting chapel and Japanese complex as part of this tour.
The Henge, Waterfall and Hub are still where they've always been. New to the village is the Visitor Center at the landing point...a money tree, and the En Garde fencing game from the now defunct skybox is right in the Pub square.
Activities have changed a lot too. Our regular classes include Astrology with Agate Gotter, Radical Witchcraft with Anathstryx Fearne, Ritual Toolcrafting with Draig Exonar and Germanic Gods with OberonOrionPendragon Landmann. Regular discussions include the Mystical Qabalah Book discussion with Aevalle Galicia, Spiritual Darkness with Cyara Demonia, Slavic Paganism with Ainsley Weatherwax and the weekly round-table with changing topics.
Our schedule is nicely rounded out with a weekly Friday night theme party, varying themes with Tsukiko Dreamscape, weekly tai chi, morning swim, and a lovely and growing pub staff.
Shops have expanded - there are now 21 on the SIM with 12 taking the Covenstead Gift Certificate. We are getting pretty full-up in the cottage rentals department as well, however several are still available. You can contact Ainsley Weatherwax for a list of available ones.
